There is a new year dawning! It is upon us, beginning just one week from today. We hope and pray that the new year will be an improvement over the old one. What a year it has been!
There may not be a lot we can do to change the things that have made this year such a strange one, but there is a lot we can do to change ourselves. The question is, what will we do in the new year? Same as this year? A new life in a new year? Better habits? New year's resolutions? For sure, we can all make some improvements. Some of us can make many improvements! The apostle Paul writes in Philippians 3:13-141:
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
